There once was a time, that skilled craftsmen made items, by hand, that would last a lifetime. In our mass produced one-size-fits-all age, things are made at a cheap price  to be broken and replaced.  We make quality hand crafted leather products for YOU, that you do not have to worry about replacing, for a very long time, if at all. Our products, as well as our process, are inspired by the rugged spirit of the early American frontier. 

My name is Joshua Fortner. I'm a U.S. Marine, a former Boy Scout, and love history and living as much of my life outdoors as possible. I stumbled upon leatherwork in 2013. I was inspired by the history and gear of the frontiersmen of America's past. Leather has been used since the beginning of time, and I wanted to use this natural material to hand craft simple, yet high quality bespoke items that YOU would be proud to pass down to your children and grandchildren.

   We want to encourage you to get out into the wilderness, explore, learn traditional skills, and live a self reliant life. And, we can provide the leather gear you may need to do so.
